I do, in general, think KISSMEs are a nice, respectful fandom. I appreciate that, and I know the boys appreciate that. Also, I know the leaving of these comments on those articles about AJ at Columbia is not malicious, and that you all want to send him your best wishes. But, if you’re going to do that — please don’t do it on those articles, because it’s a shame in itself that those had to be written; AJ is there for school, and he shouldn’t have to deal with the fandom during this — he’s already moved to an unfamiliar country, and leave his friends and family for the time being. I know that cannot be easy for him, and I seriously doubt this helps.

He is not there for the entertainment of the fandom.

There, he’s just a guy going to university and trying to work hard. He shouldn’t have to be followed by fans or his fame, or have to be required to give us all updates about his life there; I know he doesn’t tweet much, but we HAVE to respect his decision about what he does and does not reveal about his life there. Please don’t badger the university for updates about him, and more importantly please don’t badger HIM about updates.

What if he hadn’t wanted everybody on campus to know about his being in an idol group? I mean, he may have done; but the thing is that now he doesn’t get to make that decision for himself, because the fandom has done it for him.

I know, as fans, you want to know if he’s alright — I know I personally would love to. But the thing is that it’s not up to me, or you; that is his own decision, and if we are going to consider ourselves his fans we HAVE to respect that. I know nobody means this in a mean way, but please stop asking people to search KISSMEs or find stuff out about him. Him being in UKISS should have nothing to do with his university life.
